Piscataway, NJ 24 March 2015 – The IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO), an international federation of leading industry groups and consortia dedicated to the advancement of standardized technologies for the benefit of industry, today announces the 2015 IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors.

Comprised of industry leaders from various fields of electro-technology, the Board of Directors oversees the financial operations of the IEEE-ISTO, developing the IEEE-ISTO Business Plan and other related strategic and operational activities. Directors also serve to promote the benefits of industry and government organizations partnering with IEEE-ISTO.

Returning Directors were nominated and elected by fellow IEEE-ISTO federation members.  Jon T. Adams, formerly the vice president of strategic development for Lilee Systems, an IEEE-ISTO board member since 2007, did not seek re-election for 2015, as he embarks on a new business opportunity.

“At both the board level and the program level, Jon’s contributions were too numerous to count,” said Don Wright, chairman, IEEE-ISTO.  “We wish Jon the best of luck as he enters the next stage of his career.”
