Piscataway, NJ 22 February 2010 – At its annual face-to-face Board of Directors meeting, the IEEE Industry Standards and Technology Organization (IEEE-ISTO) announced the re-election of two of its Directors.  Roger Martin, (interim) executive director, Kantara Initiative, and Don Wright, director of standards, Lexmark International, were both re-elected and have agreed to serve another two-year term.

I am pleased to welcome back both Roger and Don,” said Gerald T. Lane, chairman of the IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors.  “Their leadership has effectively grown the organization over the years, and their participation will continue to position IEEE-ISTO for future expansion.”

Roger Martin has been a Director at IEEE-ISTO since 2004 and has served on the IEEE-ISTO Finance Committee (ISTO FinCom) whose purpose is to monitor financial stability of IEEE-ISTO.  Don Wright has been an IEEE-ISTO Director since 2001 and currently advises the Compensation Committee (CompCom) which ensures IEEE-ISTO employees receive reasonable compensation based on the responsibilities they are charged with relative to the mission and goals of IEEE-ISTO.
