Piscataway, NJ 23 September 2010 – IEEE-ISTO today announced the addition of two new directors to its Governing Board. Bob Mandeville, Founder and President of Iometrix, and Yatin Trivedi, Director of Standards and Interoperability Programs at Synopsys, were both named to serve on the IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors.

Bob Mandeville founded Iometrix, the networking industry’s preeminent testing authority, and has dedicated his career to providing globally recognized and trusted certification tests to the ever- expanding networking industry. Strongly committed to advancing industry standards for testing, Bob has authored test specifications for several leading standards bodies including the IETF, IEEE, MEF, MSF, IP/MPLS Forum and BBF.

Yatin Trivedi is Director of Standards and Interoperability Programs for Synopsys. He represents Synopsys on the Standards Education Committee of the IEEE-SA, and on the Board of Directors of Accellera. In addition to representing Synopsys on several standards committees, Yatin manages initiatives promoting interoperability under their corporate strategic marketing group.
