Janet Malasig

Director, Alliance Management Financial Services, IEEE SA

Janet serves as the Treasurer and Controller of ISTO and is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and operations of the Corporate and Program Financial and Infrastructure Services.  In her position, she provides strategic leadership to the Business financial review and development. 

She began her career in Public Auditing where she developed deep competencies in assurance, tax and advisory.  She has experience working in diverse industries in Asia, Western Pacific as well in the Northeast and has over 30 years combined experience in diverse roles in Finance, Corporate Accounting, Alliance Management, Not for profit, Wholesale /Retail, Consumer loans, Credit and Collections, and Public auditing.

She works with both the Finance and Audit Committees of the IEEE-ISTO Board of Directors in her current role and is responsible for the annual budget development, periodic reporting and presentation.

Janet believes in building a team of resilient, energetic and resourceful people with strong values and integrity.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics with Major in Accounting, a CPA and is a member of AICPA.
